The parade route

The parade travels along Florence Boulevard, starting at Colorado Street and finishing at 2nd Street — roughly 1.6 miles through the middle of Casa Grande. Entrants are told their banner walkers must be able to walk that full distance, which is a useful gauge of the route's length if you are deciding where to stand.

The city says accessible viewing and event areas will be available, and that a 2026 route map, parking details and accessible viewing information will be published closer to the date.

Road closures on December 5

Entering the parade

Registration opened on August 27, 2026 and closes on November 4, 2026, which is also the date of the mandatory meeting for entrants. Float descriptions and documentation are due by November 16.

Every entry must supply two banner holders who walk at the front of it for the full route. Entries are open to businesses, schools, nonprofits, community organisations and groups — floats, decorated vehicles, marching groups and other ideas all qualify. The city is also recruiting volunteers to help run the event.

If you are planning to go

Admission is free and there is no ticket to buy. The practical decisions are where to park given the closures above, and whether to arrive early for Glow Before the Show at Peart Park — particularly if children want a photo with Santa, since that line closes at 4:30 p.m.

Details can change in the weeks before a parade. The city's own event page is the place to check for the route map and parking information when they are published.
